This is the second webinar in the series “Technologies to Help Manage Seizures”, highlighting seizure monitoring technology.
The Danny Did Foundation joins us to discuss the risks associated with epilepsy, including SUDEP, and the use of seizure monitoring technology as a tool to keep your loved one safer.
DEE-P co-hosted this series with Rob Moss, father to a son with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and Founder/Developer of Seizure Tracker.
Our guests were:
Tom Stanton – Executive Director of the Danny Did Foundation and uncle to Danny Stanton, who passed away as a result of SUDEP at the age of 4 in 2009. Since then, his family has worked, via the Danny Did Foundation, to advance public awareness of epilepsy and the risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), to protect people with epilepsy, and to prevent deaths caused by seizures.
Mary Duffy – Assistant Executive Director of the Danny Did Foundation and a close friend of the Staton family
