The session was moderated by Sally Schaeffer – mother to Lydia\u2014who had a rare form of epilepsy and passed away from SUDEP\u2014and Senior Director of the SUDEP Institute<\/a> en el Fundaci\u00f3n de epilepsia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our caregiver panelists, all powerhouse advocates, were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Danielle O\u2019Ryan, who lost her brother, Josh, to SUDEP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Edana Perry, who lost her daughter, Kayla, to SUDEP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Teresa Elder, whose adult son, Tommy, lives with an aggressive form of rare epilepsy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
