“An Overview of Hypotonia and How it Impacts overall Functioning and Development” is the first in our 6-part series on Optimizing Therapies for those Living with DEEs in partnership with our friends at the CACNA1A Foundation.
About this Webinar
The goal of this webinar is to help parents/caregivers understand the impact of hypotonia and its effects on all systems of the body. We discuss what hypotonia is and its associated health-related issues, as well as help parents gain an understanding of how hypotonia impacts the quality of movement and motor development. In addition, this webinar explores potential strategies for optimizing function and maximizing outcomes including how to embed therapy into daily routines.
This session was led by Theresa Spong MED, PT, CBP who has decades of experience working with complex children, like ours, and is a CACNA1A grandmother.
